With over 35 years in the traditional steel industry – from selling Flat and Long products, I have seen it all – particularly the significant carbon emissions generated by the steel industry. I have worked across sales, strategic sourcing, supply chain and business developments in markets around the world. I am excited to join Meranti in the green steel project and work with a group of talented multi-national team and a culture that engender respect for each other and values Safety. It’s inspiring and exciting to work on the first green steel projects in SE Asia that we are confident are commercially viable and value people and the planet. Looking ahead, we are not just building a sustainable future – we are doing it with a team that knows steel inside and out and cares for future generations.
